On Sunday, March 8, 2009, we took a pelagic trip, Islas Coronados and Beyond, out of San Diego Harbor (San Diego's Bird Festival) aboard the Grande. We enjoyed the trip and were able to see many species. We were standing on the starboard side of the boat when Brad photographed this Herring Gull as it flew by us. Temperatures were in the mid- to upper 60's on this partly cloudy day.
